My name is John Pelico III and I’m a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator based in Los Angeles. I grew up in Culver City, California and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from California State University, Long Beach in 2019.
Since then I’ve worked as a graphic artist for Junk Food Clothing where I create vintage-inspired art for men’s and women’s licensed sports apparel, including co-branded collections between the NFL, NBA, and IP’s such as Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Looney Tunes, Peanuts, and Nickelodeon.
My work emphasizes a hand made quality mixed with a polished design sensibility which reflects my depth of knowledge in screen printing and traditional painting mediums. In addition to apparel, other areas of interest for me include brand ID, creative concepting, illustration, typography, digital design, as well as packaging and product design.
